Notes: PF is typically 0.8–0.99 depending on load mix. For capacitive correction (PFC panels), target PF is often 0.95+ to reduce kVA demand and penalties.

“Units” in India usually means kWh. This is a quick estimate (excluding fixed charges/taxes).
Estimated energy charge
For prepaid / sub‑meter billing (PG, hostel, co‑living), most operators bill “per unit” and may add fixed/common‑area allocation separately.

Many commercial connections bill on kVAh. Approx: \(kVAh ≈ kWh ÷ PF\).

Compute “units produced per litre” from measured load \(kW\) and diesel consumption \(L/h\).
